Alan Ross Machinery Corporation has North America's largest inventory of used and new scrap processing and recycling equipment. We offer low prices, new & used equipment sales, professional appraisals, plant-liquidations, auctions and surplus industrial asset management. We also own many of the equipment items we sell. Over 60% of our business each year is repeat and our market is global with clients in over 52 countries.

Our History

In 1952 Jerry Mandel, founded Jerry Mandel Machinery, leaving the family's scrap processing business to focus on the needs of metals processors for quality equipment. In 1971 Jerry's son-in-law, Alan Ross, joined Jerry Mandel and together assisted small scrap collectors to become larger, integrated recycling enterprises. After Jerry's retirement in 1979, Alan continued his service to the industry forming Alan Ross Machinery. Today Alan Ross, his son Rustin Ross and a team dedicated professionals continue three generations of service.

We are members of the MDNA (Machinery Dealers National Association), AMEA (Association of Machinery and Equipment Appriasers) and ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries).
