Known as the Attritor is the most efficient equipment existing today. The attritor is a grinding mill containing internally agitated media . It has been generically referred to as a " stirred ball mill.
The Attritor falls mid range between using 1/8" to 3/8" media ,agitating at a moderate speeds from 60 rpm in the largest production size units to 300 rpm for the laboratory size units (with top speeds of 600-1000 rpm) .
